I’m an online personal trainer and nutrition coach based in the UK. I help everyday busy people and professionals transform their bodies around their current lifestyles. I get people into the shape they want with by products of being significantly, healthier, fitter and more confident. I do this using evidenced based strategies, creating custom training and nutrition plans that get results. These results are truly sustainable and life-changing since they are based around your lifestyle and goals. I dispel any fitness and nutrition fads that the fitness industry promotes, ending the viscous yo-yo diet cycle.

I come from a sport science background, researching, developing and implementing strategies that get high performing results. Although I loved the details and working scientifically there’s only marginal gains to be had with those that are elite. As such I moved to helping us mere mortals and helping to create life-changing outcomes for everyday people. I draw on my experience in sport and health sciences and have had great opportunities to apply them to many different people in the real world through jobs I’ve had. I’ve worked with elite sports people, those recovering from injury or physiotherapy (NHS) and the general officer worker to the keen gym fanatic.

I’m now a business owner and parent. I understand the challenges that life brings and how it can get in the way of our health and fitness, but I know and my clients know it is possible to still be in the shape you want.

How online personal training works

STEP 1:
Consultation

To create the best training and nutrition plan for you we will start by getting to know your:
1. Goals and what you want to achieve
2. What your current training experience is and any injuries 3. What you current commitments are 4. What equipment you have access to

STEP 2: I'll create the programme

Now I design your custom programme that's going to get results. It will fit around your current lifestyle and circumstances.

I will also analysis your nutrition habits to advise how we can adjust your diet to fit your wants.

STEP 3:
We check-in and adjust

I'm not an online personal trainer that's just going to write the programme and leave you to it.

We will have scheduled check-ins for that all important accountability. We can also discuss how you are getting on and make any adjustments need to you training programme.

STEP 4:
We celebrate your results

This is the bit we are both striving for! You will get the results you want and we will celebrate your achievement's We can then focus on your next steps with your knew found tools and knowledge. At this stage you should be in a great position to carry on making progress on your own. But if you still want expert help that's also possible.

I have been an online personal trainer for around 4 years. In addition to helping people online I own a private training studio in my local area. Before this I have worked in similar roles in gyms, sports teams and the NHS.

Nope! That’s one of the many great things about working with a online personal trainer. It's a highly effective  and efficient way to get fit in the first place. Although athletes and professional sports people often use a personal trainers, it is not necessary to be in great condition to start with. Everyone has their own individual personal challenges to overcome, whether it’s running for a bus or running a marathon.

You are never too old to benefit from exercising! I have trained clients online from 8 years to 94 years old. As we get older, there are changes in our bodies which mean an exercise programme needs to be specific. Exercise is vitally important in helping keep good muscle tone as we age. This will greatly help with mobility, strength, balance and endurance.

Yes, you are right. But there's good reason for it. A gym membership won't get you any results if you can't motivate yourself, can't access it around your lifestyle, can't push yourself and can't programme progressive workouts. An online personal trainer keeps you accountable and does all the other work for you. It can really be the difference between progressing and continuing on a downward spiral. You will also learn how to do everything yourself for the future, making it a great investment. 

Most likely! If you are returning to exercise after a long period of time or have never exercised, you might feel some muscle soreness, especially at the start. However, this is a results of working your muscles in a way you are unaccustomed to, this stimulates growth and progress in fitness. It won't always hurt and if you recover well with good sleep and nutrition you might avoid soreness all together.

You can achieve great results with minimal fancy equipment. However, if you have some or have a gym membership we will certainly make the most of it if it's suitable.
