How Does Online Personal Training Work?

Online personal training is a fully bespoke fitness coaching service. Using my knowledge and experience I design a fitness and nutrition plan that will help you achieve your goals and transform your body in a swift time frame. Your programme is designed specifically for you, based around your current lifestyle, equipment access, exercise history, available time etc.

Using the initial consultation (free) provides me with sufficient information to implement an effective plan that is challenging enough to get results but not out of reach.

Your nutrition plan goes hand in hand with your training plan, this is vitally important for you to get the results you want. Each days caloric intake and macro nutrient profile caters for your additional training and weight loss or muscle gain goals. Caloric intake is calculated using your gender, age, height, weight, training plan and body type.

What Does My Package Include?

In as quick as 24 hours from sign up, I will design your bespoke training and nutrition plan from scratch. The programme will be accessible in phone or tablet app format (free on both apple and android), online via your dashboard and even printable. The programme will be broken into normally 3 phases that map out linear progression towards your goals.

From the start, you will have everyday planned out for the duration of your package, with every detail down to the exercise, sets and reps. On all packages you will have access to an extensive exercise video library, so each exercise within your programme with have a video demonstration, description of how to execute it with good form and what the purpose of the exercise is.

Nutritional plan

All packages include nutritional programming, that is far from generic. Using information gathered in the initial consultation (free), such as food likes, dislikes, allergies etc, I will design an effective plan suited to you with specific calories requirements and macro nutrition split. I offer two types of nutritional plans that are both bespoke to your needs and goals. With both options, you are able to log your nutritional intake each day using my app with the biggest verified database in the world boasting over 600,000 food/drink items, all with full macronutrient breakdowns. Everything you log, both training and nutrition gets sent to me for review, which we can discuss at check-ins.

Flexible plan- this nutritional option provides several example days that can be used as guides, you are free to chop and change with similar foods that you may prefer, providing much more freedom.

Strict plan- this nutritional options details day by day what you should be eating for the duration of your package. This plan is used more often to get in shape for an event (holiday, wedding etc) rather than a sustainable lifestyle change.

Supplement recommendations- supplements are certainly not a necessity when it comes to reaching your goals, however in some instances they made aid your plan. In which case, I can recommend supplements and clear up any myths or questions you have.

Constant support

One of the most valuable aspects of all the packages is the support I offer. All online personal training customers have full access to email support from myself 24/7. Depending on your package level you may also get constant support via, text, in app messaging, or your preferred means, which is often very quick. Additionally, you can jump online to the website and use the live chat feature.

Can I Get a Different Package?

Are These Generic Plans?

Most definitely not, I am very passionate about providing a custom service to generate the best results. All of the packages I offer are custom to yourself with no generic nutrition or training plans.

What Happens When I Finish?

This largely depends on how close you are to your final goal. Many clients achieve what they want in 6 or 12 week courses with the confidence and knowledge to train alone. Others prefer to go beyond and discuss a further loyalty plan. It ultimately comes down to the success you have achieved and if you would prefer to train alone or with a coach.

Do I have To Have Access To a Gym?

Since all the online personal training packages are fully bespoke in terms of nutrition and training plans, the exercise plan will be structured around your access to equipment. Many customers don't have access to a gym or prefer to workout in the comfort of there own home, so tailored training plans for this.

How Much Time Will I Need To Commit?

This really depends on your goals and exercise history. On average customers commit to 3 hours a week of training per week and shouldn't spend any longer in the kitchen.

Do You Offer Personal Training In Person?

I do train people in person in private studios, outside and at their homes. I am based in Exmouth and train people in Exmouth, Exeter, Budleigh and the surrounding areas (Devon).
